Everything below comes from Apple's published specs unless a row says otherwise, regrouped into our own tables. Where Apple doesn't publish a number, such as RAM or battery capacity, the table says so and credits the reported figure.

Price and capacity

Apple sells the iPhone Duo in four storage tiers, and the US price climbs by $200, then $400, then $600 between them, based on MacRumors' reported pricing.

Apple's newsroom post describes the inner cover layer as a nano-textured custom polymer. Apple's Kate Bergeron said that layer can be removed and replaced, and the fee is $49 without AppleCare+ or $19 with it (as of Oct 31, 2026), according to MacRumors' report on cover layer fees. Apple doesn't list RAM. A Geekbench result for the iPhone Duo showed 11.30GB of memory, which MacRumors reads as 12GB of RAM. That is one benchmark listing, not an Apple confirmation.

Cameras

The iPhone Duo has two rear cameras. Apple calls the 2x option an optical-quality 2x Telephoto that comes from the 48MP Fusion Main camera, according to Apple's announcement, and the spec page lists no dedicated telephoto camera.

Apple's EU energy label puts the total at 4,883 mAh, per MacRumors, which says the label appears to confirm an earlier leak of 2,962 mAh and 1,921 mAh cells. Teardown coverage from MacRumors lists the same two cells.

Apple warns that water resistance can decline with normal wear and that liquid damage isn't covered under warranty. Touch ID works whether the iPhone Duo is open or closed, Apple's announcement says.

Apple Pencil

Only Apple Pencil (USB-C) works with iPhone Duo, and Apple Pencil Pro isn't compatible, according to 9to5Mac. Support arrived in iOS 27.2, per MacStories, and Apple's spec page notes that hover isn't supported.

In the box and software

The box holds the iPhone Duo and a 1 m USB-C Charge Cable, with no power adapter, per Apple's spec page. Apple's announcement says the iPhone Duo ships with iOS 27.1. More detail is in what's in the box.

How the iPhone Duo compares

On paper, the spec sheet's biggest gaps are the missing telephoto camera and Face ID, while the strengths are the A20 Pro, the C2 and N1 radios, and 2TB of storage. For a spec-by-spec look against the main Android rival, see iPhone Duo vs. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. We'll update this page if Apple changes or adds to its published specs.
