Be useful

Write for the next owner who searches for the same question. Use a specific title, say which model, iOS version and setup you have, and come back to mark the answer that solved it.

No referral or resale posts

Don't post referral codes, affiliate or invite links, promo codes, or offers to buy, sell or trade devices and accessories. Posts that look like these are held for review automatically.

Label rumors as rumors

Reports about future products, including iPhone Duo 2, must say where they came from and be labeled as rumor or report. Don't present speculation as fact.

Keep it civil

Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks, harassment, slurs and threats are removed, and repeat behavior leads to suspension.

No personal information about others

Don't share anyone else's name, address, phone number, email, photos, order details or serial numbers. Blur your own serial numbers and IMEI before posting.

No piracy or jailbreak tools

Don't share or link to pirated apps, cracked software, or tools and files for jailbreaking or bypassing activation locks or carrier locks. General discussion of what's possible is fine; distribution isn't.

Links and images

Links are welcome once your account is established (see trust levels). Images aren't supported yet. Every user link opens in a new tab and is marked as user content.

How flagging and moderation work

• Every post has a Flag button. Flag posts that break these rules; don't reply to them.
• A post from a new account is hidden after one flag. Anyone's post is hidden after three flags. Hidden posts wait for a moderator.
• A spam filter holds duplicate posts, links to blocked short-link domains and referral-code patterns for review.
• Moderators can approve, remove, lock or pin posts, and suspend accounts for a day, a week or permanently. Every moderator action is logged.

Trust levels, in plain words

• New: your first 48 hours, or until you've made 3 posts. You can post 3 times a day and can't include links yet.
• Member: after that, up to 20 posts a day and links are allowed.
• Trusted: after 30 days with no removed posts. Your flags are looked at first.

Trust levels are automatic and never shown on your profile.
